Kathy’s Card-tel makes handmade layered shadow boxes behind a glass front, and many can carry something personal: a name, a date, a line of wording, a color, or photos. This page explains what can be personalized, how photos work, and how to order.
What can be personalized
- Butterfly Photo Memory shadow box: has fields for names, dates, wording, and colors, plus a box for special instructions. Personalization is included in its price. You email your photos to Kathy after you order.
- Other designs: add a note in the special instructions box, or send a custom request for names, dates, wording, or colors. Personalization is generally an additional $10–$20 on top of the standard price for the size you choose.
- Something completely different: start a custom creation. Fully custom commissions generally start around $89–$99, depending on size and complexity.
How photos work
For a photo piece, place your order first, then email your photos to Kathy at kp2brn@aol.com. She replies to confirm the details before making your piece. Photos you email are used only to make and deliver your order, and are kept only as long as needed to make and deliver it and resolve any problem with it. You can ask Kathy to delete them at any time. See our Privacy Policy.
How to order
- Choose a design and size (see the size guide).
- Add your personalization details on the product page, or in the special instructions box.
- Check out. Kathy makes your piece by hand after you order. Production takes approximately 7 business days before pickup or shipping; shipping transit time is separate.
- For photo pieces, email your photos to Kathy after ordering.
